How to review Reports and Activity

The Activity Center in Multicollab provides a real-time, chronological view of all collaborative actions, making it easy for editors, writers, and reviewers to track what's happening across any post or page.

What the Activity Center Tracks

  • New comments
  • Replies to comments
  • Deleted comments or replies
  • Resolved comments
  • Total number of editorial actions on the page/post

Each action is logged chronologically, providing a transparent history of collaboration.

Key Features

Review Activity by Section:

  • Click on any item in the activity log to instantly jump to that section of the post or page—making it easy to locate and review specific changes.

Summary Tab:

  • Use the Summary tab in the Activity Center to view a high-level overview of all activity on the current post or page.

Quick Settings Panel:

To open or toggle the Activity Center:

  1. Click the Multicollab icon in the top-right of the Gutenberg editor
  2. If the icon isn’t visible, click the three-dot menu (⋮)
  3. Under Plugins, ensure Multicollab is checked

From the Settings tab within the Activity Center, users can:

  • Enable/disable Suggestion Mode
  • Show or hide comments
  • Show or hide suggestions for a distraction-free writing experience

Color Coding for Clarity

  • White background: Active comments
  • Grey background: Resolved or deleted comments
  • Blue highlight: Selected activity item within the editor

Advanced Reports & Editorial Activity Dashboard

For high-volume content teams, the Advanced Dashboard offers deeper insights beyond the Activity Center.

Reports and Activity Monitoring:

  • View collaboration timelines across all posts and pages
  • Filter activities by user, content type, or timestamp
  • Monitor who made what changes, when, and where
  • Access Quick Snapshot Reports of recent comment activity per post

Navigate to WordPress Admin > Multicollab > Reports

This feature is especially useful for team leads, project managers, and content operations who need full visibility into editorial progress.
