How to invite guests to collaborate in Multicollab?
You must click Publish or Save Draft on the page or post for any Multicollab activity to save on your website database. There is currently no autosave feature for Multicollab.
With the Premium VIP Plan, you can invite anyone to collaborate on WordPress content.
This feature allows clients, editors, or stakeholders to collaborate on or view content without the need to create a WordPress account for each individual collaborator.
To invite a guest, click on the Multicollab icon (💬➕). Premium VIP Plan users can then invite a guest(s).
The two possible roles for guest users are:
- Viewer: The user can only view the page or post.
- Commenter: The user can add suggestions to the page or post.
Similar to inviting guest users on Google Docs, when inviting a guest(s) in Multicollab you can also attach a unique note that displays alongside a magic (user-specific) link within the invitation email..
