Upgrade your Multicollab
Ready to unlock more features, support more users, or scale your content collaboration? Upgrading your Multicollab plan is quick and easy—whether you're moving from the free version to PRO or switching between premium tiers.
When Should You Upgrade?
- You need access for more users
- You want to unlock additional features included in higher tiers
- Your team is growing, and your current plan has reached its limits
Upgrade Path 1: From Free to PRO (First-Time Premium Users)
Step 1: Initiate Upgrade from WordPress Admin
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
- Go to Multicollab ➡️ Dashboard
- Click the ‘Upgrade’ button — you’ll be redirected to the Multicollab website
Step 2: Purchase Your Premium Plan
Follow the steps in the Purchase & Download Guide to complete your order.
Step 3: Remove the Free Plugin
Before installing the premium version:
- Go to Plugins ➡️ Installed Plugins
- Click Deactivate under Multicollab
- Submit deactivation feedback (optional), then click ‘Submit & Deactivate’
- Click Delete, then confirm
Step 4: Install and Activate the Premium Plugin
Follow the steps outlined in the Installation and Activate License sections to upload, activate, and license your PRO plugin.
Upgrade Path 2: From One Premium Plan to Another
Step 1: Log In to Your Multicollab Account
Visit your Multicollab account, enter your login credentials, and click Log In
Step 2: Access Upgrade Options
Click on License Keys in the sidebar
- Click View Upgrades next to your current plan
- Review the Plan Name and Upgrade Cost
- Click Upgrade License
Step 3: Complete Checkout
- Confirm the Product Name and Upgrade Cost
- Click Complete Checkout
After the upgrade is complete, check the transaction and subscription details to confirm your upgraded plan
Step 4: Apply Your Upgraded License
- Log in to your WordPress Admin
- Go to Multicollab ➡️ Licenses
- Click Deactivate License to remove the old license
- Re-enter the same license key (your key doesn’t change)
- Click Activate License to apply the new plan
You’ve now successfully upgraded your plan. Your site now has access to all features, limits, and capabilities included in your new plan.
